Dear Church Family, we want to share a need in Children’s Ministry with you that is of an urgent nature. We, at Bridge Kids, are very excited to announce the reopening of our Helping Hands program, a ministry serving special behavioral needs children and their families.
The Lord has blessed us with a beautiful building and wonderful teachers that have a heart for the ministry and we’ve been blessed with a few children who have special needs. Some of these children need one on one help to be able to sit in a class.
In accordance with Psalm 139:14, our desire is to provide an environment where every child facing behavioral challenges can learn about a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. At the same time, we hope that their families can participate in worship and fellowship, knowing their children are safe, well-cared for, and learning Biblical truth. We strive to achieve this through providing one-on-one “helpers” for children who need extra assistance in the classroom, along with tools and resources they might need.
Would you prayerfully consider volunteering during one of the hours to sit with one of these children? Your help would be needed only on a rotation basis. If the child you are assigned to does not arrive, you would be free to go. This help would allow their parents to go to the Worship Service and/or Sunday/Wednesday Life Groups. Please know that no experience is required as we will train you.
Thank you for considering this important request and praying for this ministry. If you’re interested in serving in Helping Hands, we are in need of additional “helpers” both 1st and 2nd hours (9 am & 11 am on Sundays), as well as Wednesday evenings (6:45 pm) during our mid-week program. Please contact Xiomara Bueno at xbueno@tbbfchurch.org for more information.
