LAPD Outreach #2 – West Valley Division

Thanks to your generosity we were able to raise $11,066 for our LAPD Outreach. We so appreciate your support!

Bless the Police!

Our church sponsored the second of four outreaches to the LAPD on 8.25.20 at the West Valley Police Station.

In-N-Out prepared made-to-order burgers, drinks, and chips, and our church added Gideon New Testaments and personal, hand-written thank you cards from church members.

Pastor Paul and Diane Brown and Mika Kaltoft (Director of Outreach and Evangelism) were there representing our church, and it was their privilege to serve these precious men and women who do so much for our community.

One of the Captains recognized Paul and Diane from 33 years ago (oh no!, what did they do?). When we were helping plant a church in San Diego in 1987, he came down with a team of college students that helped us reach out into the community. He stayed in our home with about 10+ other guys. He recognized us even though we were wearing masks. It was great to catch up with him.

Thank you to all at The Bridge Bible Fellowship who gave generously and wrote personal notes of appreciation to the officers.

They were deeply touched (some with tears) and encouraged by what you did.

Keep praying for them as they daily face all kinds of danger while protecting and serving our community.
