What a fun and friendly evening we were able to enjoy at the Friendship Banquet last wednesday! We saw several visitors, devoured some spaghetti & meatballs, attempted to draw as a family, played some “Friendly Feud,” and looked at some characteristics of True Friends vs False friends from Colossians 3:12-17. I would encourage you to look over those verses and talk with your teen about whether they are BEING / GROWING into that kind of friend and whether they are LOOKING FOR that kind of friend!
Sundays we are continuing to walk through some powerful theology in the Biblical Counseling curriculum! This last lesson challenged us to have a Biblical view of humans. Here is one of the most challenging quotes, “Without a Biblical understanding of People and Ourselves we will miss the real problem and be led away from the only true solution… Jesus!” Powerful truth that makes me more grateful and more dependent on the Truth given to us in Scripture!

Bridge Youth exists to make God famous (1 Cor. 10:31) by encouraging one another to take the next step in our Spiritual walk (2 Peter 1:3–11), to value Jesus and His Word above all (Col 1:15-20), to commit ourselves to personal and corporate worship (John 4:21–24), and to share our faith with others in our world (Matt 18:28–29).
All 6th through 12th-grade students are welcome!
