Saying “God Bless You!” is nothing to sneeze about! In fact, we have it on good Authority that it is a big deal and humans thrive on being blessed. This Biblical ritual should be a regular happening in our lives. But what in the world is a blessing?
The word “eulogia” literally means ‘to speak well of,’ which often is misunderstood and is so much more than a cliché or church word. God commanded Abraham and all who followed after him to bless their God, spouse, children, grandchildren, generations and even their crops and herds—and…He has not rescinded that command to bless and be a blessing.
Giving a blessing is one of the most meaningful, intimate things and price-less gifts we can give our grandchildren and families. Join us next week as we share some of the ‘How-to’s’ and ‘Whys?’
