Bridge Kids

Our goal is to create a fun and exciting place where kids will learn how to be passionate in their relationship with Christ and learn how to share that faith with others.

Hey Bridge Families! We’re excited to begin in-person Children’s Church again on 2/7/21 for Elementary grades, 1st-5th grades only. Space will be limited due to Covid guidelines, so pre-registration is required. If you prefer to stay at home for now, our online video lessons will still be available for both Elementary and Prek/Kinder.

Children’s programs available at both 9:00 am and 10:45 am

Nursery – 2 years

We believe even even our youngest kids can be discipled and learn about a loving relationship with Jesus. Our trained volunteers patiently serve our babies in a safe and loving environment.

2’s & 3’s

Our toddler ages will enjoy learning through free-play, worship, Bible lessons, and age-appropriate crafts. Our dedicated teachers and volunteers work hard to model patience and Christ-like love to each child. This age will also receive a toddler-friendly snack, such as goldfish crackers and water (Gluten-free options are available).

Preschool – Kindergarten

Our preschool and Kindergarten kids will enjoy playing and learning in an engaging, age-appropriate room. We start our morning with free-play, then move on to worship, followed by a focused Bible lesson. Our craft time will reinforce and remind the kids what they learned during the lesson and our snack is child-friendly with gluten and dairy-free options.

1st-5th Grade (9:15 am)

Our elementary aged kids start off in our Launch Pad with fun activities to help them start thinking about the upcoming lesson. They will then move onto Worship and offering, followed by an Object Lesson to introduce their lesson. Our grades will then separate for age appropriate lessons and discussions, 1st-2nd grade in one class, and 3rd-5th grade in another.

1st-5th Grade (10:45 am)

Our elementary aged kids will head directly to their classrooms for age-appropriate and in-depth Sunday School Classes using the Generations of Grace curriculum. Kids will be challenged by our dedicated teachers, as they study the Old Testament and New Testament.

Answers to some of the most asked questions about Bridge Kids.

We are located in the Bridge Kids Bldg E, on the west side of campus. Look for the “Space Oasis” sign at the entrance above the door.

If you’re visiting us for the first time, please head to the Front Desk in E Bldg. for check in assistance. We will help you register your child into our Planning Center system. On your next visit, you will be able to self-check in your child using your phone number or via our Church Center app.

We use Planning Center to safely check your child into class. Your child will receive a nametag and you will receive a check out number that matches. Your child will not be released without the check-out number.

All exterior doors of E bldg. remain locked during services. Security teams patrol the campus throughout the morning to ensure all buildings are secure. We also have extensive Emergency procedures in place for E Bldg.

We maintain a “2-volunteer” rule in each classroom: Your child will never be alone with a volunteer; we will always have 2 trained volunteers present.

Yes. All our teachers and volunteers must be attenders of TBBF for at least 6 months (teachers must be members). They must then complete an interview with our Children’s Director and complete a Background check every 3 years.

All our teachers and volunteers receive annual Emergency and Policy Training. We also provide them with periodic teacher training to gain additional skills that can be used in the classroom. Also, our volunteers receive First Aid/CPR training every 2 years.

After your child is checked in, Nursery – Prek/K will go directly to their classroom. Your child will have fun playing with a variety of toys, games, and books during check in.  After clean-up, the class will enjoy a time of worship and then focused Bible lesson. After the lesson, the kids will do an age-appropriate craft that reinforces the lesson just learned. The class will then have a simple snack and water, followed by free play while waiting for parents to return.

For the 9am hour, our 1st-5th graders will check directly into our “Launch Pad” for Children’s Church consisting of an opening activity, Worship and offering, and an Object Lesson that introduces what they will be studying. They will then head upstairs to their individual classrooms (1st-2nd Gr) and (3rd-5th Gr). After focused study and discussion, parents can pick up their child from class.

For the 10:45 hour, our elementary ages will head directly to their classrooms upstairs for their Sunday School lesson.

During our Children’s Church hour (9am) we use:

Nursery – Discipleland’s “See What God Made”

2’s & 3’s – Beginning with God

Prek/K – Beginning with God

Elementary – Discipleland’s “The Summit”

During our Sunday School hour (10:45am) we use:

Our Planning Center system will text you if your child needs you. Please remember to have your cell phone with you and on silent.

Not a problem. You are more than welcome to stay with your child. Please be sure to check in at the Front Desk and receive a visitor nametag.

Please note: After visiting your child’s class 3x, we ask that you complete the volunteer application and background process.
