FAREWELL RECEPTION
You are all invited to wish Mika, Fabiola, and family, a fond farewell at a reception in their honor this Sunday, June 27th, right after service out at the D Patio. As you know Mika, who was our Director of Outreach and Evanglism, is leaving to plant a church in Denmark so this will be there last Sunday with us.
Please be in prayer for them as they leave. Here are a few specific prayer requests that we took from their Weekly Prayer Request Email:
- Pray that the shipment of our personal belongings to Denmark will go smoothly, that our things will arrive safely and that workers will handle our boxes carefully.
- Pray that the Lord will bless our time in Atlanta with our missionary organization, help us learn much, and build strong relationships.
- Pray that the Lord will help us connect with more believers in Scandinavia who want to church plant with us.
- Pray that Kalea, Levi, and Luana will enjoy the ride and adjust well, as they are already experiencing many changes and will experience even more in the next couple of months.
- Pray that the processing time for Mika’s social security number in Sweden will change from 18 weeks to max four weeks when we arrive in Sweden. It has unfortunately been extended due to COVID-19.
