Title: Grandparenting in the Tough Spots
Do family issues often get in the way of your desire to be intentional Christian grandparents? Addiction, physical or mental health problems, relational, work-related, or financial difficulties involving both adult children and grandchildren are only a few challenges that arise.
On Monday, March 22, Dr. Danny Huerta and Dr. Joannie DeBrito from Focus on the Family’s Parenting and Youth Department will talk about these and other scenarios and offer some practical suggestions and FOTF resources to help grandparents navigate these issues with their children and grandchildren.
They will give grandparents suggestions for coping with their thoughts and emotions while trying to manage these difficult circumstances in ways that honor God, promote stronger relationships within the family, and contribute to greater health and well-being for all.
