Knowing that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), the Evangelism and Outreach Ministry is committed to providing training and opportunities to enable the body of Christ to effectively take the Good News of Jesus Christ to our community.

Evangelism Training and Community Outreach

Statistics show that most Christians don’t share the gospel regularly. Fear of rejection, lack of motivation or preparation are just a few of the reasons that keep believers from sharing the gospel.

If you find yourself in that situation, we’ve some good news for you! We have an exciting ministry for you called, “Neighborhood Outreach.” The purpose of this ministry is to motivate and equip you to share the gospel effectively and biblically and give you opportunities to share the gospel in our local community. We meet ever 2nd and 4th Sunday at 12:30 in the K-Building. We start our time together with lunch (bring your own), followed by evangelism training and prayer. Then we head out into our neighborhood to engage our neighbors in gospel conversations. Once we are done, we meet up at the church again to debrief and learn from each other’s conversations.

If you are regularly sharing the gospel, we’d love to have you be a part of the ministry as well. You can help teach others how to share the gospel and join us as we seek to reach the lost with the good news of Christ.

There is no official commitment level to the ministry. It’s open to all members of our church family. You are more than welcome to pop in and check it out on a Sunday to see if it’s for you.

Please contact our Director of Outreach and Evangelism, Mika Kaltoft, mkaltoft@tbbfchurch.org or 818-918-1570 if you have any questions or plan on coming. Make sure to bring lunch if you are planning on coming. We look forward to seeing you there!
